M/Y ELENA

maintenance & repair

Winner of The World Superyacht Awards 2015 (Displacement Motor Yachts of below 500GT – 43m and above category), Motor Yacht ELENA drydocked at Multimarine Shipyards’ floating dock ERENEOS for maintenance and repairs.

The 46.7m Heesen built Yacht successfully completed the following works:

ENGINEERING

  • Main Engines check

NAVIGATION SYSTEMS

  • EPIRB
  • Novec service

DRY DOCKING SERVICES

  • Docking / undocking of vessel
  • Provision of shore crane
  • Fresh/cooling water supply

  • Provision of cleaning / disposal services
  • Supply of electrical power

STEERING & PROPULSION MAINTENANCE

  • Propulsion & steering system clearances
  • Cleaning, polishing and painting of propellers
  • Removal & inspection of PS & STB tail shafts and clearances

 HULL TREATMENT

  • Scrapping of hull
  • High pressure water cleaning
  • Full coating system below water line
  • Re-painting of plimsoll, draught and other hull markings 003 hull refurbishment
  • Zinc anodes supply & installation
  • Opening, cleaning and closing of sea chest grids
  • Opening, cleaning and closing of bow thruster grids
  • High pressure water jet washing of bow thruster tunnel

DECKING

  • teak replacement
  • caulking
  • sanding

OTHER SERVICES

  • Tank cleaning and coating
  • Anchor chains treatment and coating

March 2019

In March 2019, M/Y ELENA was docked again at Multimarine Shipyard’s facilities. The project was delivered within the agreed time frame and to the full satisfaction of the ownership.

  • Engineering: Main engines check, pumps overhauling, sea valves overhauling
  • Hull Treatment: Surface preparation and paint application to standards
  • Navigation Systems: EPIRB and Novec service
  • Dry dock items: Anchor chains (ranging, HP washing, painting, calibration), tail shafts removal/clearances, propeller polishing
  • Decking: Teak replacement, caulking, and sanding.
